Its clever roof structure was formed using curving sheets of zinc and incorporates a skylight – perfect for stargazing. Designed by Finnish architecture studio Sanaksenaho Arkkitehdit Oy the two-story Villa Musu portrays an almost organic form naturally flowing and blending with the surrounding landscape. Its gently rounded roof has a bean-like configuration when viewed from above.
The street façade of the stylish residence offers complete privacy with its simple clean design even as a long ramp shielded by a hollowed-out concrete element shapes the intriguing entry. The concrete feature not only offers protection from the harsh sun and evening showers but its cool cutouts allow light to filter through into the kitchen and living area.
